I affirm that I give my body permission to open and so that the outside world can receive you. We are all waiting patiently...some a little more patient than others. We are excited and happy. We know you have your own clock and rhythm. We look forward to your arrival on this side.

Dear Baby,
You are now full term and you can arrive any day now. In fact, one of the mommies from our childbirth class due to arrive after you was born 12:11am this morning. That was really exciting news to get today. It was a total shocker. I am waiting patiently for you to arrive. I keep wishing and hoping that you'd arrive soon, but I'm practicing patience. I know that you will come when you are ready, and although some try, that shouldn't be rushed unless it's absolutely necessary. We ultimately want a healthy baby to arrive safely.

Any day now, Baby! We can't to see you very soon!!!

Hello Dear Baby,
We are in our last month of pregnancy. It has truly been a joy and a blessing to have you growing inside of me. Lately, I've thought and said, 'I can't wait for the baby to arrive!' But today as I made a little video of my belly...trying to get you to move on camera I realized that you will come when it is time and I don't want to rush you. Instead, I want to enjoy every moment that we have as you continue to grow inside me. I've been wondering when my belly will "drop". When will your head become engaged and stay in that position?

We've had two sonograms in two weeks. Doctors are making sure that everything A-Okay! And, they things are progressing very well. We can't wait to see you face to face. Your sonogram pictures are cute. The sonographer likes to take pictures of your face. She's given us so many that I must put them in an album for you to see. A few pictures show the hair on your head...technology is really something. I was really tempted to find out your sex last week. But I was talked out of it by your dad and the sonographer. They said, "you've come so far not knowing!" And it's true! She keeps asking if I have a feeling one way or the other. It's hard to say. It's weird that someone else knows but we don't. The sonographer saw...we were looking too, but we lack the knowledge of knowing for sure without it being showcased and explained to us. She didn't want to spend too much time down there because we would probably be able to figure it out and thus spoil the surprise.

We have everything that you could want or need already. I'm sure there are a few more things to get. Mommy still has to pack her bag for the hospital. I need to iron something to wear home from the hospital and pack it in the bag.

Okay, sweetie pie, keep growing well. Mommy needs to cook some dinner. Love and kisses!

It's been a few weeks since I written, Dear Baby. So much is happening! Grandma J stayed with us for a week while your dad was at a conference. It was really nice to spend time with her. We picked up a few more things for your nursery.

Today we had our first childbirth class. It is a very informative class and the instructor has a thing for natural childbirth!!! Yippee!!! It seems so rare these days that someone would want to bring their child into the world without drugs. Get ready Baby! Mommy doesn't do things to meet the status quo.

Well, we'll keep relaxing for the next few weeks. Hopefully, you will come naturally before I am expected to return to work in late August. We need you to finish marinating (growing and developing) for about two more weeks so that your lungs can fully develop. Can't wait to see your shining face pretty baby. Can't wait!!!!

33 weeks today! We got alot done today with the help of Mommy's co-worker, who helped us move the final piece of your nursery upstairs. He also helped us store some things in the garage so that we will have more space for you. We still have some work to do, but I think you are going to like the peaceful, calm space we are creating for you. It's not overstimulating! you'll actually be able to relax in there. (smile)

Your Auntie and Grandma threw us a baby shower weekend before last. Many of your great Aunties came out. They were so excited to see what your mommy looked like with you in her belly. They all talked about how they "never thought they'd see the day". We are all anxiously awaiting your arrival.


Well baby, mommy is very tired...I've had class all week. I am thankfull that I will be able to sleep late tomorrow. Hopefully, I won't wake up too early and I'll get plenty of rest!

Oh Baby, I'm growing more and more exciting about your arrival. I am enjoying having you grow inside of me, but I can't wait to see you face to face. I often wonder what you look like, if you are a boy or a girl...

I look forward to seeing you! We have 9 weeks to go. That's going to come very quickly. So, daddy and I are busy getting your space ready. We had a great visit with your grandparents yesterday. They are very excited about your upcoming arrival too! Everyone is excited!!!! They can't wait to meet you. I feel so blessed to be your mom! So Blessed!
